The Accreditation and Quality Assurance Authority placed the following programs in the JNQF: Artificial Intelligence, Internet of Things, Data Science, and Computer Game Design and Development.
The Faculty of Information Technology and Computer Science at the Jordan University of Science and Technology achieved a significant milestone when the Accreditation and Quality Assurance Commission approved the placement of the following programs in the JNQF: Artificial Intelligence, Internet of Things, Data Science, and Computer Game Design.
Now, all of the college's programs, including 12 bachelor's degree programs, are accredited under the National Qualifications Framework.
This achievement coincides with other departments at the university also securing Placements for their academic programs, further solidifying the university’s position as a distinguished academic institution.
This placement is part of the university’s ongoing efforts to ensure that its academic programs meet the highest national standards and achieve quality in educational outcomes. This achievement was made possible thanks to the efforts of the administrative team responsible for accreditation and quality assurance, collaborative work among faculty members, administrators, and students, as well as cooperation with partners and stakeholders from the local community.
In this context, the Dean of the Faculty of Information Technology and Computer Science, Prof. Munir Bani Yassin, expressed his deep appreciation to the Head of the Department of Computer Information Systems, Cybersecurity, and Computer Science, and to all faculty and administrative staff for their dedication and outstanding efforts, and to the Faculty’s Quality Assurance Committee for its active role in ensuring quality and enhancing the quality of academic education.
