The placement of the Computer Information Systems and Health Information Systems programs into the Jordanian National Qualifications Framework (JNQF).

​The Faculty of Information Technology and Computer Science at the Jordan University of Science and Technology achieved a significant milestone by receiving accreditation for its Computer Information Systems and Health Information Systems programs from the Accreditation and Quality Assurance Commission. This achievement coincides with other departments at the university securing accreditation for their programs, which further solidifies the university’s position as a distinguished academic institution.


The accreditation is part of the university’s ongoing efforts to ensure its programs meet the highest national standards and achieve excellence in educational outcomes. It was made possible through the efforts of the administrative team responsible for accreditation and quality assurance, the collaboration of faculty members, administrators, and students, and the cooperation of partners and stakeholders from the local community.


The dean of the faculty, Prof. Munir Bani Yassin, expressed deep appreciation to the head of the department of computer information systems, all faculty and administrative staff, and the faculty’s quality assurance committee for their dedication and outstanding efforts in ensuring and enhancing the quality of academic education.
