In coordination with the National Cybersecurity Center and as part of the executive plan to implement the National Cybersecurity Framework, the Faculty of Computer and Information Technology at Jordan University of Science and Technology organized an awareness week for faculty and students from November 2 to 6, 2025. The week included a series of specialized lectures.

Specialists and experts from the National Cybersecurity Center presented these lectures as part of the university's partnership with the center to build national capacity in cybersecurity.

The lectures aimed to raise students' awareness of the National Cybersecurity Framework's concepts and emphasize the importance of adhering to its standards within institutions. This contributes to enhancing the nation's readiness in protecting systems, information, and digital infrastructure.

During the opening ceremony, the dean of the college, Prof. Munir Masadeh, emphasized:

"Keeping up with developments in cybersecurity has become a national necessity, and through these events, we aim to empower our students with the knowledge and skills to protect cyberspace in its various sectors."

These efforts are part of the college's commitment to supporting the pillars of the national cybersecurity strategy and instilling a culture of digital awareness among its students, aligning with the requirements of the local and regional labor markets.
