A master's thesis in network engineering and security submitted by student Doaa Al-Shwayat was discussed. The thesis was titled:

“MACHINE LEARNING-BASED DETECTION OF CROSS-LAYER AND CROSS-PROTOCOL ATTACKS IN IoMT SYSTEMS”

The thesis addressed the provision of advanced intelligent solutions in the field of cybersecurity to protect health information systems from advanced cyber attacks.

This research was completed under the supervision of:

• Dr. Qasem Abu Al-Haija​ – Faculty of Computer and Information Technology, Jordan University of Science and Technology.

• Dr. Abdullah Al-Maaitah – Faculty of Computer and Information Technology, Jordan University of Science and Technology.

The discussion committee consisted of the following distinguished professors:

• Prof. Jaafar Al-Saraireh – Professor of Cybersecurity at Princess Sumaya University for Technology.
• Dr. Khaled Al-Rawashdeh – Assistant Professor of Cybersecurity at the Faculty of Computer and Information Technology, Jordan University of Science and Technology.
