​In line with the College of Computer and Information Technology’s commitment to strengthening its partnership with the industrial sector and aligning educational outcomes with the needs of the job market, a delegation from the college led by the Associate Dean, Prof. Dr. Muath Mawafi, and comprising faculty members from various departments, paid a visit to JoVision/IPAI.

During the visit, the delegation toured the company’s facilities and learned about the hands-on training it provides to students, as well as the high-quality, cutting-edge projects on which students and interns are working. They also learned about the career opportunities the company offers graduates in artificial intelligence, computer vision, image processing and advanced industrial applications.

Founded in 2008, JoVision/IPAI is one of Jordan’s leading companies, providing integrated solutions in the field of industrial quality control and non-destructive testing (NDT). Its team of specialised engineers develops innovative solutions based on artificial intelligence and computer vision technologies, particularly for object recognition and automated defect detection using laser and X-ray technologies. This improves product quality and increases efficiency in industrial processes.

The company gained global recognition when it was selected by the World Economic Forum as one of the top 100 Arab world startups shaping the Fourth Industrial Revolution. It also participated in the World Economic Forum on the Middle East and North Africa, which was held in Jordan.

The college reaffirms its commitment to building strategic partnerships with leading companies and institutions to contribute to the development of academic programmes, enhance practical training and prepare graduates with the skills and expertise demanded by the job market.
