26 Apr 2026

Several students from the College of Computer and Information Technology attended the second annual Auditors’ Forum, organized by the Jordanian Audit Bureau. Dr. Mohammad Al-Wadian, a faculty member in the Department of Cybersecurity, accompanied them.

The forum aimed to foster early professional awareness among students by providing them with the opportunity to learn about the latest auditing and oversight trends, as well as the use of computer and information technology and artificial intelligence to advance oversight work. Students also gained insight into the real-world challenges this profession faces in the context of digital transformation and rapid technological advancement.

The forum served as an interactive platform where students could engage with experts and practitioners in auditing, information technology, and artificial intelligence. This helped them connect their theoretical knowledge with practical applications and the demands of the job market, broadening their perspectives.

In this context, Prof. Munir Bani Yassin, the Dean of the College of Computer and Information Technology, emphasized that this participation reflects the college’s commitment to providing an integrated educational environment that bridges the academic and practical aspects. He noted the importance of involving students in specialized national events that contribute to building their practical experience and honing their professional skills. He added that the college continues to support initiatives that prepare students to enter the job market, especially in cybersecurity and digital transformation fields.

This participation underscores the university and college administrations' commitment to preparing qualified professionals with the necessary knowledge and skills to effectively adapt to modern work environments, in line with their mission to achieve academic and professional excellence.
