Dean of the Faculty of Science and Arts, professor Qutaiba Khatatbeh met on Sunday 20^th of November with Director of the International Office at Abdullah Gül University, Turkey, Mr. Emeric Abrignani. Abrignani gave a synopsis of Abdullah Gül University, its faculties, programs of study and its mechanism of admission of students.

During the meeting that took place at the Faculty of Science and Arts’ dean’s office, various issues of concern to the faculty were discussed, particularly the possibility of student exchange and sabbatical leave for faculty members in the two universities.

Abrignani also met with the President’s assistant and Head of the International Relations Office Dr. Ammar Maaytah and discussed aspects of bilateral cooperation between the two universities. 

The visit was concluded with putting forward an agreement between the two parties regarding student exchange programs and facilitations given to faculty members. The agreement is expected to become effective as from the second 2017-18 semester. 

Abrignani expressed his admiration of the teaching and research accomplishments of the JUST and its reputation worldwide.
