A delegation from Abdullah Gul University in  Turkey visits Jordan University of Science and Technology/JUST

The Faculty of Science and Arts  at Jordan University of Science and Technology hosted the Vice President of Abdullah Gul University in Turkey,Professor Dr. Yousef Baran and the Director of the Turkish Cultural Center in Amman, Professor Genghis  Arauglu.

During the visit, Dr. Baran delivered  a lecture entitled: "The Molecular Mechanisms of  Multiple Drug Resistance in Cancer and Strategies to Overcome Them  " which was attended by faculty members and graduate  students at the Faculty of Science and Arts.

Dr. Baran also met the two Vice Presidents Dr. Sarhan Hadad and Dr. Mohammad Al-Ebbini and  the Dean of the Faculty of Science and Arts, Dr. Qutaibah Khatatbeh . The meeting  discussed possible cooperative relations  between the two parties , it also discussed the exchange of faculty members and students   between the two universities and the possibility of being  partners in  European projects.

The possibility of offering an optional course for students in Turkish language through the Language Center at the University or the Department of Human Sciences  was also discussed ,where they agreed to arrange for  dispatching a number of Turkish  students to learn Arabic through the TAP group. The meeting also discussed signing a Memorandum of Understanding between Jordan  University of Science and Technology, and Abdulla Gul University  in all possible aspects of cooperation.​
