Faculty of Science and Arts Continues Preparations to Host the 4th International Conference on Advanced Materials (ICAM2025)

The Faculty of Science and Arts at Jordan University of Science and Technology is preparing to host the 4th International Conference on Advanced Materials (ICAM2025), which will be held on the university's campus in Irbid, Jordan, from May 21 to 23, 2025.

In this context, the Dean of the Faculty, Prof. Khalid Shawakfeh, stated that preparations are in full swing to ensure the success of this prominent scientific event. Prof. Shawakfeh said: "We are working on attracting outstanding scientific research from around the world. The conference committees have already received a number of research papers, which are currently being thoroughly reviewed by a scientific committee composed of elite local and international experts."

He added that the conference will feature keynote speakers from nine Arab and foreign countries, who are among the leading researchers in the field of advanced materials. The program will also include scientific sessions, discussions, and lectures focusing on the latest developments and innovations in the field. Prof. Shawakfeh noted that the accepted papers will be published in the IOP Conference Series: Materials Science and Engineering, which enhances the university's reputation as a global academic and research center.

Dr. Mohammad Al-Omari, the conference coordinator, emphasized that this event represents a unique platform for researchers and academics to exchange experiences and ideas, and to build research partnerships at both local and international levels. This contributes to advancing scientific research in Jordan and the Arab region.

In addition to the distinguished scientific program, Prof. Shawakfeh mentioned that the conference will feature a rich social program aimed at introducing participants to the beauty and rich history of Jordan. He also said: "Participants will have the opportunity to visit key tourist attractions such as Petra, Wadi Rum, Jerash, Ajloun, and Umm Qais, which reflects Jordanian hospitality and offers a unique scientific and cultural experience."

The faculty is working diligently, in collaboration with various organizing committees, to provide all the necessary facilities to ensure an ideal experience for participants. The conference is expected to attract numerous researchers and academics from around the world, making it a major scientific event at the regional and international levels.
