During the visit, Dr. El-Houri met with the Dean of the Faculty of Science and Arts, Dr. Qutaibeh Katatbeh and Dr. Amjad Mahasneh, the chairman of the Biotechnology and Genetic Engineering Department. The meeting discussed possible cooperative relations between the JUST and SDU, it also discussed the possibility of exchange of faculty members and students between the two universities and the possibility of being partners in European projects.

The possibility of offering joint-workshops in Biotechnology at JUST was also discussed. The meeting also discussed signing a Memorandum of Understanding between Jordan University of Science and Technology, and University of Southern Denmark in all possible aspects of cooperation.​
