​​The Department of Basic Sciences and Humanities at Jordan University of Science and Technology, in collaboration with the Media and Community Police Department and the Cybercrime Unit in Ramtha, held an awareness lecture for Leadership and Community Responsibility students. Captain Mohammad Al-Rabab'ah discussed online security, emphasizing the importance of caution regarding suspicious online activities, Wi-Fi threats, and phishing scams. He also advised against sharing personal information.

Professor Khaled Shawakfeh, Dean of the Faculty of Science and Arts, highlighted the need for joint efforts to raise awareness about online safety, tailored to students' age and educational needs.

The lecture was attended by Professor Eftikhar Mohidean, faculty members, community police officers, and students from the course.​
