​The Department of Mathematics and Statistics, in collaboration with the local community represented by the Irbid Governorate Council, the Directorate of Education for Bani Obaid District, and the Irbid Cultural Center, organized a mathematics competition for students of schools in the Bani Obaid District. The event was overseen by the department head, Dr. Amer Darwish, along with a selection of students and alumni from the Department of Mathematics and Statistics. The students and the organizers of the competition were honored, and after the results were tabulated, the winner was announced and awarded.
