        The Department of Biotechnology and Genetic Engineering hosted​​ the German Accreditation Committee (ASIIN) for three days in the period from 5/3/2024 to 7/3/2024. The purpose of the visit is to renew their accreditation for bachelor degree in the biotechnology and genetic engineering. During the visit, they held a series of meetings and conferences with the university administration, the dean of the College of Arts and Sciences, and students, and representatives from employers and the private sector. In addition, they visited the university facilities, including teaching halls and laboratories, to see the equipment in general.

      At the end of the delegation's visit, they expressed their satisfaction with the study plan, services and facilities in the department, and made some comments and recommendations for future development purposes.​
