As part of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan's celebrations for the silver jubilee of His Majesty King Abdullah II Ibn Al Hussein assuming his constitutional powers, Jordan University of Science and Technology took a unique initiative to contribute in protecting the environment. Department of Basic Sciences and Humanity in the College of Sciences and Arts in collaboration with the Agricultural Production and Services Unit at the university has planted (1000) trees. This initiative comes in fulfillment of the vision of His Majesty to reach a green Jordan, within the national initiative “Planting (10) million trees."
