The Deanship of Scientific Research at the Jordan University of Science and Technology, in partnership with the Faculty of Nursing, launched the Jordan Journal of Nursing Research at the university, which is funded by the Scientific Research and Innovation Support Fund at the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
The journal will begin receiving scientific research for arbitration and evaluation of its eligibility for publication. The journal is supervised by an editorial board headed by Prof. Raeda Abu Al-Rub and the membership of Prof. Rowaida Al-Ma'aitah, Prof. Muntaha Gharaibeh, and Prof. Laila Akhu-Zaheya from the Faculty of Nursing at the University of Science and Technology, Prof. Muayyad Ahmed from the University of Jordan and Prof. Manar Al-Azzam from the University of Jordan Al Al-Bayt and Prof. Jamila Abu Duhail from the Hashemite University.
The Dean of Scientific Research, Prof. Tariq Muqtash, emphasized that the university is giving specific attention to this journal. Launching the Jordan Journal of Nursing Research at the university reflects the university's research excellence in various medical fields and promotes the strategic partnership with the Scientific Research and Innovation Support Fund at the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
The Dean of the Faculty of Nursing, Prof. Laila Akhu-Zaheya, explained that the Faculty of Nursing represented by the faculty members and administrative staff will support the journal and work to ensure its success and reach the highest levels of international classification and motivate colleagues at the university and abroad to send distinguished scientific papers for publication in it.
The editor-in-chief, Prof. Raeda Abu Al-Rub, encouraged researchers in the field of nursing to submit their research to the journal, and acknowledge that the journal is approved for promotion in Jordanian universities. Prof. Raeda emphasized that the editorial board, which includes various experiences in the field of nursing, has developed an annual plan for the advancement of the journal and its inclusion in the most important global databases.
