​Under the supervision of Dr. Maysa Husni Almomani, the master’s students of the Advanced Health Assessment course conducted an open day titled “Your Health Concerns Us,” on November 28th, 2019, at Jumanah Secondary School for Girls. The event focused on health education regarding different health issues, including addiction, smoking, obesity, first aid, diabetes, mellitus, hypertension, healthy eating, and nutrition.
In addition, the students measured the blood glucose levels, blood pressure, body weight, and body mass index of the attending students, mothers, and school teachers. The event also provided information and a demonstration on breast self-examination.
