​During the events of the 2^nd Jordanian Palestinian optometry conference (JOPAL) that took place at Le Meridian hotel, Amman/ Jordan (23-25 March 2016) and in conjunction with Jordanian syndicate of optometrists and opticians, Dr May Mohammad Bakkar an assistant professor from the Faculty of Applied Medical Sciences/ department of Optometry received an honorary fellowship from the International Association of Contact lens Educators (IACLE) as a recognition of excellence upon her successful outcome on the FIALCE exam and her worthy contributions in contact lens teaching and research in Jordan. By this Dr May Bakkar is now the first fellow of IACLE in Jordan.
