The Dean of the Faculty of Applied Medical Sciences ​Prof. Yousef  Khader organized a two days Scientific Manuscript Writing Workshop. The workshop was funded by the European Platform 7 grant NCDs and their social determinants in Mediterranean partner countries RESCAP-MED.

The director of the RESCAP-MED project in Jordan Prof. Yousef Khader said that the workshop aims to build sustainable research capacity for effective policy intervention. And he stressed on the importance of gaping the bridges between the researchers and healthcare system decision makers.

The attendees included new faculties/researchers from JUST and the Hashemite University, the President of JUST Prof. Abdullah Malkawi, the Vice President Prof. Ahmad Batiha, and directors from the Ministry of Health.

The workshop included lectures and group-work about the research methods and writing scientific papers for the researchers. In addition, the workshop provided the opportunity for both researchers and decision makers to set on one table to discuss enhancing the communication and connection between them, and how researcher can have a critical role in setting healthcare policies.​
