The Water Diplomacy Center at JUST hosted a group of students from Arar Academy Schools  in Irbid for a workshop on water awareness. The workshop aimed to raise awareness about the importance of water and the challenges facing Jordan's water resources.​

𝐒𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐞𝐝 𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭:

· The importance of water and its role in life.

· The challenges facing water in Jordan, such as water scarcity, desertification, and pollution.

· Water conservation strategies, such as reducing consumption and using modern irrigation techniques.

· The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), focusing on SDG 6: Clean Water and Sanitation. ​

𝐓𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐚𝐭 𝐉𝐔𝐒𝐓 𝐂𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐮𝐬

In addition to the workshop, students toured the JUST campus, visiting:

· 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐂𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐨𝐟 𝐄𝐱𝐜𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐈𝐧𝐧𝐨𝐯𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐬: To learn about the university's water, energy, and environment projects.

· 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐉𝐔𝐒𝐓 𝐋𝐢𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐫𝐲: To learn about the information resources available on water.

· 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐉𝐔𝐒𝐓 𝐋𝐚𝐤𝐞: to learn about water treatment technologies.
