During the 3rd Blue Peace Middle East Policy Advisory Committee Meeting chaired by HRH Prince El Hassan bin Talal, during which the distinguished members of the PAC provided their insights and guidance to the Blue Peace community.

Dr. Majed Abu Zreig, the WDC Director, shared insights on the WDC and its role as an important institution in the Global South dealing with transboundary research and capacity building in water diplomacy and cooperation.

HRH Prince Hassan bin Talal reinforced that statement, underlining the need for a regional approach to water management and spatial planning in order to promote sustainable development at national, municipal and local levels. 

The commitment of the Blue Peace Middle East initiative to utilizing water as a catalyst for cooperation, dialogue, and long-term regional sustainability remains resolute.

It is worth noting that HRH Prince Hassan bin Talal is the chair of the Policy Advisory Committee, His Royal Highness Prince El Hassan bin Talal of Jordan has worked for decades to promote peace, dialogue, and humanitarian justice.
