Water Diplomacy Center and MEDRC to collaborate on joint research projects for freshwater scarcity
The Water Diplomacy Center's Director, Dr. Majed Abu Zreig, met with MEDRC's Director of the Development Cooperation Program, Ms. Esme Markham, to discuss potential areas of collaboration and partnership. During the meeting, Dr. Abu Zreig introduced the center's objectives and both sides agreed to conduct joint research projects related to freshwater scarcity and transboundary water projects.
The Water Diplomacy Center team also gave Ms. Markham a tour of the university's facilities, which she admired. MEDRC is an international non-governmental organization established in 1996 to address global challenges such as peace and environmental sustainability. The organization is dedicated to conducting research, training, and supporting transboundary water projects to build solutions for freshwater scarcity.
