Teams of students from Jordan University of Science and Technology won the National Sumo Robot Championship Competition, which was held at Al-Hussein Technical University on 15/7/2023. The Scooby Dooby Doo team won first place in the programming category and was represented by students: Malik Salama and Lima Hamad.
The Smash the Potato team won second place in the programming category and was represented by students: Qutaiba Ananza, Khaled Ammoura and Nour Tantawi.
The JUST Hawk team won third place in the mechanical design category and was represented by the students: Muhammad Al-Syouf and Osama Ahmed.

Winning the Fire Fighters competition in the field of robot design which was organized by Princess Sumaya University for Technology
The (just Fighter) team of students from Jordan University of Science and Technology won the Fire Fighters competition in the field of robot design, which was organized by Princess Sumaya University for Technology on 1/9/2022, with the participation of 21 teams from several universities, where students Osama Raafat from the Department of Mechanical Engineering and Muhammad Seyouf won the From the Computer Engineering Department won first place for the best design in the competition. The team also included students Muhammad Abu Issa and Haitham Abu Al-Hayja.
It is worth mentioning that the (just Fighter) team had received financial, technical and administrative support from the Center of Excellence for Innovative Projects in order to provide the appropriate environment for its success and creativity.

Winning the national sumo robotics competition which was held at Al-Hussein Technical University
Two teams from the innovative groups of the Center of Excellence for Innovative Projects won the national Sumo robotics competition in the field of robotics, which was held at Al-Hussein Technical University on May 27 and 28, 2022, as part of the Kingdom's celebrations of the 76th Independence Day, with the participation of about 95 teams from several Jordanian universities. They are the Hail The Potato team, which won first place for the Best Programming Award, and is made up of students (Ahmed Suleiman, Munther Abu Zina, Lima Hamad).
While the Bulldozer team won second place for the best programming, consisting of students: Wathiq Al-Omari, Ahmed Al-Zarini.
The innovative groups were created by the Center of Excellence for Innovative Projects to include distinguished students in several fields such as robotics, drones, programming, artificial intelligence, and others, in order to provide the appropriate environment for creative and distinguished university students. These groups are supervised by Mr. Samer Suleiman from the center's staff.

Winning prizes of the Arab Innovation Academy in Qatar
The delegation of the Jordanian University of Science and Technology / Center of Excellence for Innovative Projects participated in the Arab Academy for Innovation/ Qatar Science and Technology Park in Doha, Qatar on 20/1/2020 in which several Arab and European nationalities exceeded twenty, and the number of students exceeded 150 students from different universities.
The students of Jordan University of Science and Technology won many awards in this competitive training event, as the winning teams in the first three places included Jordanian students who clearly put their mark within the teams formed according to the program system.
Where the student Ahmed Khairallah and his team won the first place within the (SALAMATK) project, which is an application and platform that provides assistance to diabetics.
Student Muhammad Al-Rifai and his team also won second place in the (HAMZA) project, which is a platform for correcting spelling errors in the Arabic language.
Student Youssef Malkawi and his team also won third place in the (GO STAR) project, which is an application that helps parents make the best use of their children's time, and they won many awards represented by business acceleration programs in Qatar Science and Technology Park and the European Academy for Creativity.
Students Ruwaid Al-Hourani and Muhammad Abu Huwaila also received two awards for their excellence in producing the best prototype for their project (BOMA), which aims to help the deaf.
Student Khaled Mayas and his team won the Business Acceleration Program award for the (AISHA) project, which aims to solve the problem of automated response in the Qatari market.
The student Abdulmalik Abdulrazik also won an award for attending the World Summit for Innovation in Healthcare 2020 for his project (DOCTORLY), which aims to help diabetics.

The Jordan University of Science and Technology/ Center of Excellence for Innovative Projects on 26/3/2019 won first place in the award of Her Highness Sheikha Fatima Bint Mubarak Program for Excellence and Community Intelligence/United Arab Emirates/category of entities supporting youth issues in 2019, after It surpassed 3,090 nomination files that came to the program from several countries.

Winning the Most Active Partner Award within Global Entrepreneurship Week
Within the activities of Global Entrepreneurship Week - GEW, which was organized by the Queen Rania Center for Entrepreneurship at Princess Sumaya University, the Jordan University of Science and Technology, represented by the Center of Excellence for Innovative Projects, on 11/20/2017, received the Organizing Partner Award for the largest number of activities and events within the university category. On this week every year, the world celebrates entrepreneurs and innovators by holding diverse and stimulating activities for creativity and innovation. The Center of Excellence for Creative Projects has organized a number of activities and events, including the signing of four cooperation agreements with leading companies from the private sector, and many student activities such as the Global Challenges Ideation Competition in cooperation with the German Jordanian University within the SAXEED.JET project supported by the German DAAD Foundation, where A number of students from the two universities participated in it, and the “Entrepreneurship Platform" organized by the Ministry of Youth in Al Hussein Sports City, in addition to workshops such as the small business creation workshop presented by Dr. Muhannad Al-Jarrah, Assistant Director of the Center, which was held in the Center's activities hall.
