Jordan University of Science and Technology / Center of Excellence for Innovative Projects won the first place in the award of Her Highness Sheikha Fatima Bint Mubarak Program for Excellence and Community Intelligence / United Arab Emirates / in the category of entities supporting youth issues, after surpassing 3090 nomination files that reached the award program from various countries.

The President of the University, Prof. Saeb Khreisat, had directed earlier (13/2/2019) students to participate in this award through his speech at one of the activities promoting the award, where he said, "The university will not hesitate to support Innovative students who have initiatives that will bring about change in their societies."

From this standpoint, the Center of Excellence for Innovative Projects organized several subsequent educational meetings between the ambassador of the award and the students, and the decision was made to officially participate on behalf of the university / center. The Director of the Administrative Services Department, Mr. Hassan Al-Amour, was officially assigned to prepare and submit the nomination file for the award.

Where modern strategies were used in preparing the application for candidacy, including the model of excellence for European quality management institutions, and it is worth mentioning that this award included 52 main and sub-criteria.​
