The delegation of the Jordanian University of Science and Technology / Center of Excellence for Innovative Projects participated in the Arab Academy for Innovation / Qatar Science and Technology Park in Doha, Qatar, in which several Arab and European nationalities exceeded twenty, and the number of students exceeded 150 students from various universities. The students of Jordan University of Science and Technology won many awards in this competitive training event, as the winning teams in the first three places included Jordanian students who clearly put their mark within the teams formed according to the program system. Where the student Ahmed Khairallah and his team won the first place within the (SALAMATK) project, which is an application and platform that provides assistance to diabetics. Student Muhammad Al-Rifai and his team also won second place in the (HAMZA) project, which is a platform for correcting spelling errors in the Arabic language. Student Youssef Malkawi and his team also won third place in the (GO STAR) project, which is an application that helps parents make the best use of their children's time. And they won many awards represented by business acceleration programs in Qatar Science and Technology Park and the European Academy for Creativity. Students Ruwaid Al-Hourani and Muhammad Abu Huwaila also received two awards for their excellence in producing the best prototype for their project (BOMA), which aims to help the deaf. Student Khaled Mayas and his team won the Business Acceleration Program award for the (AISHA) project, which aims to solve the problem of automated response in the Qatari market. The student Abdulmalik Abdulrazik also won an award for attending the World Summit for Innovation in Healthcare 2020 for his project (DOCTORLY), which aims to help diabetics. This participation constituted a rich experience for the participating university students. During the training and competition period, they received a specialized training program in the field of entrepreneurship and its leadership, from a large group of specialists and experts in this field, most of them from Silicon Valley / America and the European Academy for Innovation. The training included the stages of selecting and studying the idea, identifying the target party, studying the product and its suitability for the market, studying the market and economic feasibility, in addition to the cost of the project and the expected return from it. It is worth mentioning that the delegation consisted of Mr. Hassan Al-Amour (supervisor) and the students Youssef Malkawi, Ruwaid Al-Hourani, Muhammad Al-Rifai, Abdel-Malik Abdel-Razek, Muhammad Abu Huwaila, Ahmed Khairallah, Khaled Mayas, Musab Malkawi, and Hamza Abu Al-Haija. The Jordanian delegation was praised and appreciated by all the participants for its excellence, discipline and good dealings.
