​The Minister of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship, His Excellency Ahmed Al-Hananda, visited the Center of Excellence for Innovative Projects at the University of Science and Technology, in the presence of His Excellency, the President of the University of Science and Technology, Prof. Khaled Al-Salem, and the Vice President of the University, Prof. Ahmed Al-Ajlouni. His Excellency the Minister of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship and the attendees, and he briefed them on the center's activities, how to support and provide projects, and the appropriate environment to incubate projects to reach startup companies, in addition to the various services and facilities in the center and the business accelerator.

His Excellency the Minister listened to some observations and inquiries from the participants in this meeting, including faculty members, students and owners of emerging companies, regarding supporting entrepreneurship in their companies, and expressed the Ministry's readiness to support these companies and projects. His Excellency the Minister stated that the Ministry will open centers to support innovation in northern, central and southern Jordan to provide materials And devices for pioneering companies such as incubators and infrastructure for projects. At the end of the meeting, he also thanked the management of the university and the center, expressing his admiration and directives to support the entrepreneurship sector.
