​Jordan University of Science and Technology got a patent from the United States Patent Office

Dr.Rana Obeidat -Faculty of Pharmacy at Jordan University of Science and Technology- got a patent from the US patent office with a title of :

" Process of Producing and Method of Using Soluble High Molecular-Weight Chitosan "

Dr.Rana took her patent by discovering an innovative way in Developing Chitosan and prepare it in High Solubility, using supercritical Liquids.

This way saves the High Molecular Weight for Chitosan, it will show a new prospects for Chitosan to improve it's uses in "Green Technology".

This way was created in the Laboratories of Jordan University of Science and Technonlogy with in cooperation with Dr.Adnan Badwan , The General Manager of Jordanian Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Company and The member of Innovation Center at JUST's Board. He has more than 200 Scientific papers and patent.

Is it worth  mentioning that this is the second patent for JUST from the US Patent Office  in less than a year, The Technology Transfer Office in The Innovation Center works on Record This Patent Internationally and trade it in the market.

Dr.Rana Obeidat got the Ph.D. in Technological Pharmacy from JUST(2004) and works currently in the technolgical pharmacy department/Faculty of Pharmacy and has more than 20 Scientific papers in international magazines.
