The Center of Excellence for Innovative projects held a seminar entitled "Freelance Work: A Real Job Opportunity" on Wednesday, 6-1-2021.
Dr. Hashi Iraj of the Elegant Project Steering Committee opened the symposium by talking about the project funded by the European Union aimed at improving employment opportunities for students of the College of Information Technology in Jordan.
Dr. Nebojica Stojic of Dubrovnik University of Croatia also urges about the importance of self-employment and its global spread and impact.
Finally, Mr. Daoud Al-Sahli from JoLancer spoke about the importance of self-employment for IT students, as it constitutes a large sector of business and is witnessing an increasing demand from companies and service seekers at the local and global levels.
Mr. Daoud listened to the questions and observations of the attendees from the students and answered them and clarified some information related to this type of business through his experience in this field.
This symposium comes as part of a series of seminars and activities organized by the Center through its partnership with the European Union-funded Elite project, which aims to increase employment opportunities for IT graduates.
