The Centre of Excellence for Innovative Projects at the University of Science and Technology launches a specialized training course in integrated web development (MERN Stack)
On Monday 14 September 2026, the Centre of Excellence for Innovative Projects launched the Integrated Web Developer Program – (MERN Stack), as part of the 'Digital Skills for a Better Future' program implemented by DOT Jordan in partnership with the Ministry of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship and with support from UNICEF. The program targets young people aged 17–24, including university students and graduates in computer science, and will run from 14 September 2026 to 25 October 2026. Its aim is to equip participants with the knowledge and practical skills required to develop modern, integrated and scalable web applications using the MERN Stack methodology, as well as developing their skills in HTML, CSS and JavaScript, building interactive interfaces, and enhancing their back-end and database management skills, enabling them to understand the application development lifecycle and implement integrated projects that simulate real-world labor market requirements.
The launch of this training program stems from the Centre's belief in the importance of investing in young talent and building a generation with the digital and knowledge-based skills capable of keeping pace with the rapid transformations in the digital labor market, and to enhance their opportunities to pursue promising career paths in the IT sector by providing programs that support entrepreneurship, innovation and digital transformation, thereby helping to build their capabilities and open up new horizons for them in promising technical and professional fields.
