In the presence of a distinguished international academic audience, Dr. Ahmad Bani Younes, Director of the Center of Excellence for Innovative Projects at the Jordan University of Science and Technology, participated as a keynote speaker at the 8th International Conference on Applied Electrical Engineering and Computing Technology (AEECT 2026), organized by the Jordan Chapter of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) – Jordan, with the participation of a select group of researchers, academics, students, and industry representatives from Jordan and around the world. The three-day event took place from July 28 to 30, 2026, at the Royal Hotel in the capital, Amman, where the latest research and developments were discussed across seven main themes, including biomedical engineering, communications, signal processing, and computer networks; control, robotics, and mechatronics; cybersecurity; data science and artificial intelligence; electronics engineering and nanotechnology; as well as sustainable energy, power systems, and smart grids, with the aim of strengthening cooperation and exchanging expertise through keynote lectures, specialized scientific sessions, and presentations of research papers, as well as a number of workshops and a technology exhibition.
On the second day of the conference, Dr. Ahmad Bani Younes delivered the keynote address titled:
Data-Driven Innovation: From Concept to Intelligent Robotics and Space.
