The Center of Excellence for Innovative Projects at the Jordan University of Science and Technology welcomes a delegation from the EUSEEDS project to discuss the development of a university center for innovation and employment
As part of the EU-funded international EUSEEDS project, and in collaboration with the Francophone University Agency, the Jordan University of Science and Technology, represented by the Center of Excellence for Innovative Projects, welcomed a team of representatives from the regional partner, the Jordan Youth Innovation Forum, on Sunday 10 May 2026, including the programme director, Ms. Aya Arab, and the communications manager, Mr. Majd Hanandeh, as part of a series of field visits to the Jordanian universities selected for the project. During the visit, a meeting was held on behalf of the university with the Vice-President, Prof. Dr. Mona Abu Dalo, and the Director of the Center of Excellence for Innovative Projects, Dr. Ahmad Bani Younes, with the aim of reviewing the university's current situation and needs, and discussing the logistical and technical requirements necessary to develop a university center specializing in employment, entrepreneurship and digital skills.
This project represents a strategic step towards strengthening the innovation ecosystem and enhancing the role of universities in empowering young people and preparing them to enter the labour market, by providing a practical environment that helps students develop their skills and transform their entrepreneurial ideas into viable projects and initiatives, It also aims to strengthen international partnerships and exchange expertise with organizations that support innovation and entrepreneurship, thereby helping to expand the universities' impact in serving the local community. This is in line with the university's vision of promoting innovation, empowering young people and building a university environment that supports innovativity and entrepreneurship.
