Launch of an Introductory Workshop on the Internet of Things using ESP32 at the Center of Excellence for Innovative Projects at the Jordan University of Science and Technology
As part of the Center of Excellence for Innovative Projects at the Jordan University of Science and Technology's ongoing efforts to support entrepreneurship and innovation, and to enable students to acquire modern technical skills and bridge the gap between academic knowledge and practical application, a workshop titled “Introduction to the Internet of Things Using ESP32" kicked off on Monday, May 11, 2026, in collaboration with the university's Robotics and Automation Society IEEE RAS JUST. The workshop aims to equip students with practical skills in embedded systems and the Internet of Things, thereby contributing to the development of their technical capabilities and fostering engineering thinking through the creation of interactive projects in the fields of smart technology.
The workshop will consist of four specialized sessions totaling 22 training hours, delivered by a select group of outstanding students from the university: Aws Rajoub, majoring in Computer Engineering, and Ma'an Abu Naim, majoring in the Internet of Things, in an interactive learning environment that fosters creativity and innovation and encourages the development of modern technical solutions.
