The Center of Excellence for Innovative Projects Hosts a Unique Workshop Combining Public Health and Mental Health
In line with the Center of Excellence for Innovative Projects' mission to build a creative and well-rounded generation capable of leading the future, the Center, in collaboration with Just for Just newspaper, hosted a special workshop on Tuesday, April 7, 2026, that brought together public health and mental health. The workshop targeted university students from various majors and academic levels, with the aim of equipping them with practical tools to manage academic stress and maintain mental balance, Their questions were answered by Ms. Rafida Qwaqna, Chair of the Women's Committees at the Princess Basma Center affiliated with the Hashemite Fund and a specialist in educational counseling, during a panel discussion moderated by Dr. Muhammad Al-Amayra, founder of Just for Just newspaper a medical school graduate, who presented practical insights and effective methods to enable participants to develop effective strategies for coping with academic stress, enhancing mental health and resilience, maintaining psychological balance throughout their university journey, and building positive habits that support academic and personal success.
This workshop is part of an integrated vision through which the university and the center seek to empower students and foster a university environment that supports holistic health, thereby positively impacting their academic and personal journeys.
