​Representing the Jordan University of Science and Technology, and within the framework of discussing ways of cooperation in enhancing entrepreneurial programs in the Jordanian Ministry of Youth, the Director of the Center of Excellence for Innovative Projects, Prof. Muhannad Quwaider, participated on Wednesday, 11/27/2024, in a meeting of directors and representatives of entrepreneurship, innovation and creativity centers in Jordanian universities with the Jordanian Minister of Youth, Eng. Yazan AlShdaifat, in translation of the royal directives included in the Royal Letter of Assignment that focused on developing youth skills and activating youth and entrepreneurship centers, harnessing youth energies in construction and development, providing sports facilities and protecting youth from the scourge of drugs. AlShdaifat stressed the importance of uniting national efforts to advance the youth work file and the importance of partnership with Jordanian universities and investing in entrepreneurship and innovation centers to support entrepreneurial youth in a way that contributes to creating a stimulating environment for entrepreneurship and innovation. For his part, Quwaider appreciated the role played by the Ministry in coordinating and networking with the centers of entrepreneurship, innovation and creativity to unify efforts and direct young people towards entrepreneurship in business. A set of ideas were also put forward that would enhance the environment of entrepreneurship and innovation, with the aim of encouraging the holding of extracurricular activities that hone the skills of young people and support their talents.
