​In order to achieve the mission of the Center of Excellence for Innovative Projects to support innovative and creative ideas and projects and to enhance cooperation and partnerships with national and international centers and institutions, an introductory session was held today, Tuesday, 11/26/2024, about the JODDB Innovation Hub platform affiliated with the National Center for Design and Development, which is concerned with defense, security and technological industries in the region. It was opened by the Director of the Center of Excellence, Professor Muhannad Quwaider, who presented a summary of the center's services and support for owners of creative ideas, starting from the idea to a product on the ground. A definition of the platform and its mechanism of operation was also provided by a team from the Jordanian Center for Design and Development, which included the Head of the Cooperation and Scientific Research Department, Eng. Radi Al-Wardat, and the Head of the Institutional Development Department, Mr. Ahmed Freihat. The session included a discussion session during which all the attendees' inquiries were answered.

It is worth noting that the platform was created based on the vision of His Majesty King Abdullah II bin Al Hussein and his continuous directives to support creativity and innovators, as it is considered a unique and valuable opportunity for engineers, faculty members at the university, researchers, outstanding students, and all those who possess distinguished skills and competencies to give them the opportunity to present their creative and research ideas in the fields of engineering and technology that contribute to the localization and development of defense industries and technology.
