A delegation from the International Research Council (IREX) and Virginia Tech University visited the center
On the sidelines of cooperation to manage the Higher Education for Growth and Innovation (HEIG) project funded by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), a delegation from the International Research Council (IREX) and Virginia Tech University on Thursday, 5/30/2024, toured the university's facilities, including Center of Excellence for Innovation Projects, Faculty of Agriculture, Nanotechnology Institute, Chemical Engineering Department Labs, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Princess Haya Biotechnology Center and Pharmaceutical Research Center. They were received by the Director of the Center, Professor Muhannad Quwaider, and the center's staff, where Dr. Quwaider provided a comprehensive explanation. About the center and the procedures for supporting those with creative ideas and incubating projects, starting from the idea all the way to implementing it on the ground.
At the end of the meeting, the delegation toured the center's facilities, such as: the technology incubator, the activities hall, and the business accelerator, during which they were briefed on the available capabilities and services provided by the center on the ground. The visiting delegation expressed its admiration for the center's capabilities and the services provided.
