On Sunday, May 5, 2024, the Center of Excellence for Innovative Projects held a training workshop entitled (Volunteer Work and Its Impact on the Labor Market) in cooperation with the Environmental Protection and Advanced Technology Club at the Jordan University of Science and Technology. The workshop targeted university students from various specializations, with the aim of introducing students to what Volunteer work in their lives and its impact on the individual and society, which benefits them by acquiring the necessary skills and qualifying them for the labor market, whether that is in their field of specialization in particular or in any field regardless of their specializations. The workshop addressed several basic topics about volunteer work and its benefits, most notably (the importance of volunteer work, the importance of volunteer work in the labor market, how to benefit from volunteer work, how to choose the best volunteer work, engagement and belonging in the practical environment), which enables the participants at the conclusion of the workshop to understand the importance Volunteer work and how to benefit from it in their personal and professional lives, in addition to how to choose appropriate volunteer work and how to effectively engage and belong in the practical environment.
Its implementation was supervised by Trainer Mujahid Al-Sammadi, Director of Human Resources Development at Runners Company, a developer of resources and human development, and one who has valuable experience in youth initiatives concerned with volunteering.
