Presentation session for the creative ideas of participants in the Najahna project for economic empowerment of youth
Within the “Najahna" project for economic empowerment of youth, affiliated with Plan International Jordan, and in cooperation with the Center of Excellence for Innovative Projects at the Jordan University of Science and Technology, a presentation session was held today, Monday, 3/11/2024, for a group of ideas presented by the participants in the program in front of: Engineer Samer Arabiyat, Dr. Hoda Al-Rawabdeh, Engineer Omar Ababneh from the program, and in the presence of the Center's Director, Professor Muhannad Quwaider and the Head of the Training Division at the Center, Eng. Nedaa Al-Rabai, with the aim of evaluating the ideas presented and directing their owners to achieve their goals in entrepreneurship and implement their pioneering projects, thus empowering young people, especially young girls and young women, to become Economic and social actors in a supportive, inclusive environment.
It is worth noting that the entrepreneurial students who are selected during the stages and have ideas for their projects receive basic entrepreneurship training, in order to support them in submitting a business plan and presenting a brief presentation of the project idea in order to obtain a financial grant ranging from (5000-15,000) Jordanian dinars and technical support to become Over time, they are able to start their own businesses for emerging and existing companies that emerge from their ideas, initiatives and creativity, provide job opportunities for young people, contribute to reducing the unemployment rate, and contribute to the program to accelerate the sustainable development goals for small and medium enterprises.
