Holding an introductory workshop for researchers from the College of Engineering at the Jordan University of Science and Technology to apply for patents
On Sunday, 3/10/2024, the Center of Excellence for Innovative Projects held an introductory workshop on the process of applying for patents for researchers who are faculty members at the College of Engineering at the Jordan University of Science and Technology. The workshop participants were received by the Deputy Director of the Center, Dr. Tamara Athamneh, and the Center's staff, who presented Dr. Al-Athamna provided a comprehensive explanation of the services provided at the center, the available opportunities, and the procedures for incubating projects and supporting them financially and technically in order to implement them on the ground, in addition to local community support services and holding summer clubs for the children of university employees in the field of leadership and creativity.
It is worth noting that the workshop was presented by the head of the training division at the center, Eng. Nedaa Al-Rabai, where she provided the participants with information that included the topics of patents and the mechanism of their registration, in addition to the protection of intellectual property rights.
