On Tuesday, February 27, 2024, the Center of Excellence for Innovative Projects held a training workshop entitled (PV System), within the SAXEED.ECO project supported by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD). The workshop aims to introduce the cells used to store solar energy and ways to benefit from it. From as much sunlight as possible.
The workshop was opened by the Center's Director, Professor Muhannad Quwaider, where he welcomed the participants and gave them a summary of the services provided at the Center within three axes that included patents and intellectual property rights, the technological incubator and training, where a brief explanation was provided about the technical, artistic and material support provided to transform the idea into a start-up company. The workshop was presented by the Director of the Technical Services Department at the Center, Engineer Mustafa Al-Saleh, in the presence of Professor Saher Albatran, the vice dean of college of Engineering.
It is worth noting that the SAXEED.ECO project was launched within the framework of cooperation between the Jordan University of Science and Technology and the German University of Chemnitz, and aims to develop applied educational content in entrepreneurship in the field of sustainable energy and support pioneering projects and ideas. The project includes partners from the Yarmouk University and Abdul Hamid bin Badis/Republic Mostaganem in Algeria.
