Opening a Hackathon in "Using Information Technology in Environmentally Friendly Solutions" supported by the German Agency for Academic Exchange Services (DAAD) within the "SAXEED.ECO" project
On Sunday, 14/5/2023, a Hackathon "Using Information Technology in Environmentally Friendly Solutions" was opened, which is supported by the German Agency for Academic Exchange Services (DAAD) within the "SAXEED.ECO" project, in partnership between Jordan University of Science and Technology, Yarmouk University and Mostaganem University in Algeria and Chemnitz University in Germany.
The hackathon aims to exchange experiences among university students participating in the areas of leadership and innovation that concern the use of information technology in the service of the environment by searching for effective, sustainable and innovative solutions to environmental problems.
The week-long hackathon included workshops and training in entrepreneurship for the participating teams, seminars and competitions, where the participating and winning teams will be announced at the closing ceremony of the hackathon, which ends on May 18, 2023.
Students from Jordan University of Science and Technology participated in this hackathon, in addition to the director of the Center of Excellence for Innovative Projects and the center's staff.
