Participating of Center of Excellence for Innovative Projects in the closing ceremony of the second edition of the "Ahli Fintech Hackathon"
On Tuesday, March 21st, the Center of Excellence for Innovative Projects, represented by the Director of the Project Services Department, Mr. Wael Al-Saleem, has participated in the closing activities of the second edition of the "Ahli Fintech Hackathon" for financial technology for students of Jordanian universities, which was organized by Al-Ahli Company in partnership with the Crown Prince Foundation.
Teams from various Jordanian universities participated in presenting their projects to the judging committee, and the projects qualified for the final stage were selected, through which the participating teams in the Ahli Fintech Business Incubation Program will be selected in order to start working on developing, experimenting and testing their financial technology solutions, and support will be provided to the qualified projects. By providing a shared workplace and mentors within the program, in addition to helping them present the best solutions to the AHLI FinTech Investment Committee for the opportunity to choose them to participate free of charge in the AHLI Fintech Accelerator Program, in addition to obtaining an investment of up to $200,000 to finance the establishment and development of their startups.
It is worth noting that such a competition seeks to provide Jordanian youth with the expertise and skills necessary for the advancement of the national economy. In addition, the Crown Prince Foundation gives great priority to issues, support and development of the capabilities of young men and women, and works in partnership with its business partners to provide them with unique opportunities that enhance their competitive advantage and empower them to equipped with the modern skills needed by the labor market.
