On Thursday, 23/2/2023, the activities of the Hackathon " Leadership in Green Building in Jordan" were concluded. The hackathon is supported by the ENI CBC Med Program within the "RESMYLE" project. The participating teams presented their presentations (Pitching) in front of the jury committee consisting of: Prof. Muhannad Quwaider, the director of the center of excellence for innovative projects, Mr. Hasan Al-Amour, director of the administrative department at the center, Dr. Samer Ayasrah, director of the center for entrepreneurship and creativity at Amman Arab Open University and Eng. Mazen Abu Qamar, director general of the Iksab center for sustainable development.

The submitted ideas by the teams were evaluated and resulted in the qualification of all teams to the next stage. At the end of the event, the jury provided advice and guidance to all participants, and the director of the center expressed his willingness to guide them to move forward in applying their creative ideas on the ground and in the right way.

It is worth noting that the teams have qualified for the next stages of the hackathon, which have already been announced, where the teams will receive funding to support their innovative ideas in developing sustainable and innovative solutions to the challenges facing the construction sector in Jordan. The teams will undergo intensive training in green building leadership, in addition to the opportunity of participating in the international green entrepreneurship training in Tunisia or France.
