At the request of colleagues in the medical faculties, to learn more about intellectual property rights and patent registration, the Center of Excellence for Innovative Projects called for a new seminar on intellectual property rights and patents for medical specialties on Wednesday 10/5/2017 1:00 pm until 3:00 pm in the Saladin.

The meeting schedule was as follows:

Presentation of a summary of the University's intellectual property policy and instructions and the patent registration mechanism presented by Eng. Nida Al-Rubai, Technology Transfer Officer at the University.

A speech on intellectual property rights and patents in the medical field was presented by Dr. Mohammed Jaafari, Managing Director of the Intellectual Property Intellectual Property Office at the Royal Scientific Society.

Real success stories on how to turn research ideas into commercial products and profitable companies provided by Dr. Abeer Al-Ghannam, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, through her personal experience.​
