The Center of Excellence for Innovative Projects participated in the activities of the first scientific day of the Aeronautical Engineering Department by presenting the following projects:
The Bluebird is a fully designed aircraft built on the campus of the University of Science and Technology (UAU). It is a UAV for small-scale maneuvering purposes. It is a nucleus for studying and designing aircraft and designing its own controllers. It is equipped with a robot, air navigation system and remote communication system.

Design of unmanned pilot system for Drones Fixed Wing @ Quad rotor aircraft
The aim of this project is to use gyroscope, compass, accelerometer and GPS to build the autopilot controller using Arduino Microcontroller. This project will enable students to gain full knowledge on how to operate and program all of the above using the PID Control system.
