The center of Excellence for innovative projects held a seminar under the title of "self-employment: a true work opportunity" on Wednesday the 6th of January/2021.
Dr. Hachi Iraj, a member of the Steering Committee of the Elegant project, commenced the seminar previewing the project that is sponsored by the European Union with the aim of promoting job opportunities for IT students in Jordan.
Dr. Niboisha Stogitch, an academic from Dubrovnik University, also highlighted the importance of self-employment and its influence worldwide.
Mr. Dawood Alsahely, from JoLancer company, discussed the importance of self-employment for information technology students, emphasizing this field's high demand both locally and internationally.
Mr. Dawood replied to the attendees' questions and clarified some information related to this business owing to his previous experiences in this area.
This seminar is part of CEIP's participation in the elegant project sponsored by the European Union.
