As part of its activities during the Global Entrepreneurship Week (GIW), CEIP announced the launch of "The innovative group of Cyber Security and Ethical Hacking" on Monday, 16th November 2020. An initiative dedicated to talented students who are interested in Cyber Security.
During the event, Mr. Samer Suleiman explained the center's philosophy and objectives, pointing out that the center pays special attention to Cyber Security groups. He mentioned that CEIP is willing to dedicate its resources to support the innovative groups' activities and any startups in those fields.
A group of computer and information technology students participated in the event; Mohammad Al-Attari and Saif Al-Wedian, members of the innovative group, provided a detailed explanation of some terms related to cybersecurity and ethical hacking. They also shed light on the importance of cybersecurity and ethical hacking in promoting different fields. Moreover, the students provided the attendees with information regarding the most important national and international contests in that field.
Mohammad Al-Falailah, Abdulaziz Irshaidat, and Bilal Al-Qurneh introduced the stages, objectives, methods, and content of the upcoming training program. A note worth mentioning is that 30 people participated in the Cyber Security and Ethical Hacking seminar.
