As part of its activities during the Global Innovation Week (GIW), CEIP announced launching the "Innovative Competitive Programming Group". An initiative aimed to attract talented students interested in competitive programming.

Through a dedicated seminar, Mr. Samer Suleiman explained CEIP's philosophy and objectives, including creating innovative groups, supporting extracurricular activities that go in line with the traditional academic track to create more opportunities, and supporting young talents and entrepreneurs.

A group of computer and information technology faculty students shared the experience they built via training and participating in programming contests. The student Mohammad Al-Ajlouni provided an overview of "Competitive Programming" its importance and its role in improving students' logical thinking abilities. In the same vein, his colleague Mahmoud Al-Rabee' talked about his experience in learning programming mentioning the most useful websites and self-learning methods that can help students improve their programming competence. The student Ammar Al-Shuneir provided a brief preview of the most important programming contests, how to participate in them, and the role they play in reflecting the students' self-image.

The event hosted Mr. Mohammad Al-Omari, one of the JUST graduates who has participated in several programming contests. He talked about the impact learning competitive programming had on his professional and academic progress. Also, he advised the students to invest their time and efforts in promoting their self-learning abilities.
