Center of Excellence for Innovation Projects at JUST is having the first Innovation Olympiad within the following categories:

1. Water and Environment (Water Treatment, Water Networks and Loss Calculations, Collecting Rain Water, …)
2. Green Energy (Solar Energy, Wind Energy, Geothermal Energy, …)
3. Internet-of-Things and Smart Cities (Transportation Sharing, Road Safety, …)
4. Health & Medical Technologies (Health Info. Systems, Health Care Recipient Systems, …)
5. AgriTech (Irrigation Networks, Aquaponics, Vertical and Soilless Agriculture, …)

Participation Requirements

• JUST student with the possibility of having a faculty member as a supervisor
• The proposed idea has to be within the specified categories
• The proposed idea has to be applied as a commercial product of social service
• The proposed idea has to be registered for participation no later than 15/3/2018
• The proposed idea is to be presented to a judging panel in up to 6 minutes on 21-22/3/2018

Awards per Category

• First Place award: 300 JOD
• Second Place Award: 200 JOD
• Third Place Award: 100 JOD

In addition, the winning projects will be incubated based on the regulations of the Center of Excellence for Innovative Projects at JUST
