The Queen Rania Center for Environmental Science and Technology, a center of the Jordan University of Science and Technology, implemented a community-based awareness session on the impacts of climate change on health and the indoor environment through the GeoHealth Hub for Climate Change and Health in the Middle East and North Africa, a project funded by the U.S. National Institutes of Health (NIH).
The activity was carried out in partnership with the International Society for Environmental Epidemiology – Eastern Mediterranean Chapter and Dar Al-Nobalaa Charity Association, in alignment with the National Climate Change Health Adaptation Strategy of Jordan (2024–2033), targeting members of the local community in Irbid City, Jordan.
