Queen
Rania Al-Abdullah Center for Environmental Science and Technology organized
four days’ workshop for women at JUST within the activities of the regional program
"Water Integrity Capacity Building Programme in the MENA". The program
is funded by the Swedish International
development cooperation Agency (Sida).
The overall objective of this program is to develop
capacities of the different water stakeholder groups at different governance
levels in the MENA region to improve transparency and accountability practices
in water resources management. Participants in this workshop represented woman from various stakeholder group
i.e women's associations, media and water management institutions.
The
workshop covers the following topics: Governance, Integrity, Corruption risks, Transforming
and access to information Queen Rania Al-Abdullah Center for Environmental
Science and Technology is the national partner for this regional program which
includes in addition to Jordan, Lebanon, Palestine, Tunisia and Morocco.
